Sabrina has always shared a special connection with her grandmother (the first time she ever smiled, it was at "Baba"). Now that she can remember people better, thanks to that ever-growing brain, it's really neat to see that spark of recognition.
Generally we get to see Baba every 2 months or so. Nowadays, the re-acclimation period is getting much shorter; within 5-10 minutes Sabrina is out of her shell, letting Baba hold her, etc.
Here they are hanging out on the kitchen floor...
P.S. - During this visit, on several occasions Sabrina would start crying when Baba went away (for example, to return the shopping cart, or to drop something off in her car). I would reassure her that Baba would be right back, but that usually didn't work. She's very attached, and my mom's theory is that she thinks her Baba is going away for another 2-month period.
Baba is here!
