Jesus is my friend

Let me just note for the record that I have not taken Sabrina to church except for her Baptism when she was 4 months old.

Sabrina has a keen interest in birthdays; always wanting to know who's birthday is next. She remembers her own 2nd birthday party and how much fun she had. So in early December, when she asked us whose birthday was next, Gene quickly answered "It's Jesus' birthday soon". Well, ever since then, Jesus has become Sabrina's invisible friend. Yesterday she invited him into her play house to have tea. "Here you go Jesus, have some tea" and "Jesus, come inside". It's really quite cute, but I have to wonder where the fascination came from.

Today Sabrina's afternoon teacher told me that Sabrina said something about Jesus when she was playing with the train set.

Now what is really funny, is when invisible friend Jesus is not listening to Sabrina, she will say "JESUS, COME HERE". We never use blasphemous language, but it sure sounds like it when she says it that way! :)
