Ear piercing

I knew I wanted Sabrina to have pierced ears and she was interested too.  I always thoughts we would make a big deal of it and go to the mall when Sabrina was 8 or so years old, etc.  But when I saw that Sabrina's pediatrician's office offers ear piercing, I decided spur-of-the-moment that I would ask Sabrina if she wanted to go for it.  She did!  Totally unplanned but it went well.  They had two nurses - one on each ear and did the piercing simultaneously.  A few tears welled up in her eyes, but quickly disappeared as soon as they held up a mirror so she could see.  She was pleased with the results and so am I.  Now for 6 weeks of daily ear post cleaning.  Should be done by the time the pool opens on Memorial weekend.
