Classroom Promotion and "Thank you"

Last week Sabrina got officially promoted to the "Toddlers 2" room. There are a few subtle differences here that I can right off the bat, to include no cribs! That's right, there the toddlers sleep on roll-away cot-type beds. It must be weird for Sabrina, having always slept in a crib or bassinet. This class size is also a bit bigger - I think there are 6-7 kids in there (versus 4 in Toddlers 1). Oh, and all of them are girls. Girl power!!! :)

For several weeks now Gene has been trying to teach Sabrina to say "Thank you". For example, when she's crying/whining for something like her out of reach sippy cup, and he hands it to her, he'll say "Thank you" and do the sign for it also. Well, I think she has learned because tonight we went to a Japanese steak house for "date night" and each time the chef put something on her plate, she said it! It was so cute.
