As we do each weekday morning, while Sabrina drinks her sippy cup of milk, I watch a half-hour world news program at 4:30 am, which includes politics, national news and some international segments, and even a light entertainment/Hollywood update. Well, this morning they mentioned that it's National Dump the Pump Day, intended to encourage people to bike or use mass transit instead of driving. Not really an option for us since we live 40+ miles away from work.
Well, we make it to the car (an environmentally-friendly hybrid SUV, I might add) and as I'm backing down the driveway, Sabrina asks me "Mommy, what doing?". I answer "Mommy's driving, Sweetheart". To which I hear "No driving, Mommy, no driving!". I guess she was paying attention to the news!
