Since Sabrina doesn't have any type of ride-on toys at home, we decided we'd swing by Target over the long weekend to see what was available. We ended up buying her a tricycle, complete with a helmet and a cool horn. Daddy affixed the horn to the handle bar, which took a little creativity and a little felt so it held in place and not spin around, Mommy put the helmet on (with some resistance on the recipient's part I might add), and we all went outside to the driveway for an initial test drive.
It was a great day for it, too -- low 80's and low humidity. Sabrina's feet don't quite fully reach the pedals yet (when the pedals rotate to the far end, her foot looses contact), so Daddy gently pushed her along and made she she didn't fall off :) She's learning to keep her hands on the handle bar, as shown in the picture. She loved it!
It won't be long before she'll be able to ride solo :)
