I can't believe our little Sabrina is almost 9 weeks old. She is growing every day and developing some real personality. She can smile almost on command now (and not only when she's gassy!) and continues to be very aware of her surroundings. The crying fits have greatly lessened, I believe, thanks to the new reflux medicine and probably because she's outgrowing her colic.
We can pretty much take her anywhere now and although there's always a risk of her screaming/crying, we feel we are armed with enough "tools" and "tricks" to handle it without being thrown out of whatever establishment we're in!
Gene often sings to her and she seems to really love it -- great bonding moments for them to have. As for my singing (which is really bad, but thankfully Sabrina doesn't yet know that), Ben E. King's "Stand by Me" is a favorite of hers.
