Welcome Sabrina Jeanne!

Sabrina made her entrance into the world yesterday, July 23rd, 2008.

After doing some on-line research about polyhydramnios, on Tuesday I decided I would call the docs to see if we could mitigate the risks by having an induction (vs chancing that my water would break somewhere and that the umbilical cord could be prolapsed, me not know it, and be 2 hours away from the hospital). They agreed to induce me... that night!!! So off we went.

The induction was started on Tuesday night around 6:30 pm with hooking me up to the pitocin.

On Wednesday afternoon, after 15 minutes of pushing, she arrived!

9 lbs 8.9 ounces
22.5 inches long
Born at 1:43 pm 7-23-08

She is healthy and happy and feeding well.
