Getting out of the house...

We've discovered that Sabrina loves an adventure! We've taken her 'out on the road' quite a bit in the last few days (grocery store, Babies R Us, Costco, etc.) and she travels really well. Only cries when her diaper needs to be changed or when she's hungry. We can pretty much guarantee she'll fall asleep the minute the car starts rolling, too! We even took her to a restaurant for lunch yesterday and she either slept or quietly studied the ceiling lights the whole time.

Yesterday we took her for a photo session and we were really pleased with the photos. And did she ever take to the camera -- you go girl! We bought the "deluxe" package which includes pretty much everything, including a CD of the originals for us to use whenever and however we wish. One of the photos will be featured in her birth announcements, which I ordered on-line last night and should arrive next week, ready for us to stuff, label and stamp.

Last night we enjoyed two consecutive 4-hour segments of sleep -- and for that we are grateful!

Oh and in other exciting news, the umbilical cord stump is no more! It fell off sometime this morning during a burping session because I found it in her "sleep sack".
