One of our traditions was weekly "date nights", usually on Fridays as a way of marking survival of yet another grueling work week. Basically date nights involve dinner at a local restaurant (we had a rotation of 6 or 7 restaurants). After a 5-week hiatus, we decided to go for it again, only this time we had a party of "2 and a half".
In order to prevent the looks of disdain, disgust and disbelief from other customers if Sabrina were to have one of her screaming episodes, we planned this excursion very carefully. It involves a secret, complicated logarithmic equation where X equals her feeding schedule and Y equals the restaurant's dinner hours so that wait times can be minimized (or preferably eliminated).
Anyway, our equation worked because we didn't hear a peep from Sabrina until we were half-way home. Phiew! It also meant we dined with customers no younger than 70 years of age since we were there at 4:30! Where is our senior citizens/early bird discount anyway??
